Chord Company HDMI Switching Matrix

Uncategorized By Feb 09, 2009

In response to calls from frustrated customers, The Chord Company is supplying its first ever electronic component. Many owners of flat screens and projectors have benefited from connecting their components with Chord’s award winning HDMI Silver Plus cable but this hasn’t solved an increasing problem: the lack of available HDMI inputs. The solution is an HDMI Switching Matrix.

The Chord Company HDMI Switching Matrix is the ideal solution for anyone looking for a high quality, high performance HDMI switching unit.  Chord’s HDMI Switching Matrix features three rear mounted HDMI sockets and one mini HDMI socket on the front.  All four inputs can be separately routed to one of two HDMI outputs on the rear of the unit.  The input and output configuration can be selected either by controls on the front of the unit or via the supplied remote control.

Measuring just 18cm wide, 11cm deep and 2.5cm high the HDMI Switching Matrix is easy to locate and simple to install. It requires no programming, it is simply plug and play.

As with all Chord products, picture and sound quality is of paramount importance. The HDMI Switching Matrix has been designed and built to maximise both audio and picture quality.  The unit will carry all signals up to 1080p and all currently available digital audio signals.  The Type C input on the front allows for the simple connection of the latest generation of high definition camcorders. The three Type A inputs on the back will provide connections for satellite, Freeview and freesat HD boxes, games units and DVD players.

To make connection as simple and as tidy as possible, Chord’s award winning HDMI 1.3 Silver Plus cable is also now available in 0.5 metre lengths.

The Chord Matrix HDMI Switcher is available now at a SRP of £250 inc VAT
