Not one, but two Apple iPod Touches are now close to useless as their battery life is unpredictable – certainly less than 24hours when on standby. Since updating to iOS 4.x battery life has shortened to the point of impracticality.

Searching the internet for a solution just indicates that I’m not alone. It appears that many owners of an Apple iPod Touch are also disappointed with the lack of response from Apple.
What can be done? Any suggestions? Or do I just write them off to experience and plan in the future that any Apple purchases should be considered as only for the short-term?
